As part of our Put Kids 1st Campaign, Texans Care for Children trains parents, community members, and those who work with children to make a difference in the policies that shape kids' lives.
You are an expert in your own experience, and sharing experiences lies at the heart of advocacy. Learn how to use your knowledge of the issues facing children in your life to improve conditions for all kids and members of your community.
Our trainings can be tailored to meet your needs and are often available free of charge. We cover issues for Texas children, how state laws get made, what everyday people can do to bring about change, and practical strategies to influence policy decisions. Approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider #: 886521110) for 4.0 continuing education contact hours, participants can receive CEU credits if they choose.
