Advocacy Trainings

Following a Training on Children's Advocacy Day
As part of our Put Kids 1st Campaign, Texans Care for Children trains parents, community members, and those who work with children to make a difference in the policies that shape kids' lives.

You are an expert in your own experience, and sharing experiences lies at the heart of advocacy. Learn how to use your knowledge of the issues facing children in your life to improve conditions for all kids and members of your community.

Our trainings cover how laws are made in Texas, what everyday people can do to bring about policy changes, and practical strategies to influence the laws that shape kids' lives.

Thanks to all who attended our San Antonio
Put Kids 1st Community Advocacy Training
in January!

Our Put Kids 1st advocacy training program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Provider #: 886521110) for 4.0 continuing education contact hours.
