The Texans Care for Children Young Professionals Council is a networking group for capital area Texans interested in supporting our work through fundraising, volunteering, and direct participation in policy and advocacy work.
The Young Professionals Council provides a great opportunity to:
- network year-round with other young professionals interested in policy issues
- be in the know and get involved at the Capitol
- be part of making changes that will make a real difference in the lives of Texas children statewide

- Regular policy briefings from staff of Texans Care and partner organizations

- Texans Care for Children Advocacy and Community Organizing Training
- Facilitated tours of our member organizations and state facilities
- Join legislators and VIP guests at our annual Put Kids 1st Luncheon

- Ambassadors to service organizations from across the state at Day at the Capitol event
- Council service project at a Texans Care member organization

Public Sector/Non-profit Professionals: $10/month or $120/year
Corporate: $15/month or $180/year
