In too many ways, the youngest Texans are in worse health today than they were a decade ago.
That's why we convene the Texas Infant Health Alliance, a network of organizations and individuals working together to improve the health of Texas babies. Members look at the health issues infants face and exchange timely information and resources to bring about better outcomes for Texas babies, including through public policy. Community and health organizations, healthcare providers, parents, elected leaders, legislative staff, and other concerned citizens are invited to join.
Work with us to bring about a consensus for better health from the very beginning of childhood here in Texas. We cover topics from health care coverage to preventative care, family support and education to vaccinations, supporting premature babies to enhancing maternal nutrition.
For more information about our work and what we cover in our monthly meetings, visit our meetings page, or contact Texans Care's Eileen Garcia at (512) 473-2274. To download a one-page desciption of the Alliance in PDF format, click here.
