Alison Little
Health Policy Associate

Alison’s work focuses on healthcare coverage, child obesity, and infant health, and she leads our Texas Infant Health Alliance and co-facilitates the Texas CHIP Coalition. Before coming to Texans Care, Alison worked as a disability rights advocate with Advocacy Inc. and a Soros Justice Fellow hosted by the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault at the University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Social Work Research. She received her B.A. in the Plan II Honors Program at UT Austin and her Master of Public Policy degree from the Goldman School at the University of California at Berkeley.

Fun fact about Alison: An avid summer-camp kid, well into her adult years, she has found that knowing how to get back in your canoe after you have dumped it over in the middle of the lake is a critical life skill.
