How Are the Children? A Listening Tour Report

 In 2008, Texans Care for Children staff traveled to the communities of El Paso, Tyler, Jefferson, Burnet, Laredo, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Fort Worth to find out from Texas families and service providers what children in Texas are experiencing. The Texans we met with voiced their thoughts about the strengths and needs of their community in a public forum with invited elected officials. |
